Target Audience

This activity is intended for Physicians engaged in the care of patients with Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology.

Educational Objectives

After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:

• Address individual needs in compliance with their Continuous Professional Development (CPD) plan.
• Discuss developments in Interventional Pulmonary
• Describe an update about guided bronchoscopy
• Discuss the newly discovered management of bronchoscopic interventions for chronic obstructive airway disease
• Summarize an update about anesthesia for Interventional Pulmonology
• Discuss an update on the management of complex parapneumonic effusions and empyema.

American Board of Internal Medicine Maintenance of Certification

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 15.5 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
